誰もが自分らしく生きる社会を目指し、高齢者や障害のある方を支援するプロダクトと環境の設計・デザイン論を探究しています。医療・福祉においては、機能補完に留まらないQOL最大化のための包括的デザインが求められています。本研究室では「生活全体」を対象とし、多角的な視点から医療・福祉の課題を考え、これからの私たちのくらしを支えるテクノロジーとそれらを取り巻く環境とのインタラクションのあり方を体系的に構想します。

We are developing designing products and environments that support older persons and persons with disabilities, targeting a society where all can live with independence. The core goal in healthcare and social care is comprehensive design that maximizes QOL, moving beyond functional compensation. Our lab aims at "life as a whole" as the design subject, systematically conceiving the ideal interaction between technology and the environment.
